Day 01
Inaugurated by Hon. Minister of Statefor Urban Development, Smt. Madhuri Misal and MLA Shri Siddhrath Shirole, we began by felicitating Leaders of Change who have made Pune a hub of opportunity: Shri. Satish Magar, Shri.Pramod Rawat, Dr. Saurabh Gadgil, Shri.Mukund Sangoram, and Shri. Ravi Pandit. The first panel on Building theCity of Tomorrow featured insights from Ranjit Naiknavare (President, CREDAI),Vikas Achalkar (Chairman, IIA PuneChapter), Ms. Pooja Misal (Founder,BrickETC) and Ar. Hrishikesh Kulkarni.
Day 02
Ar. Shweta Hingane (The.Archart) conducted an Architectural Illustration Workshop, followed by Shri. Utpal Kumar Sharma’s & Ar. Vijay Sane’s presentations on Sustainable Urban Development. The group-chat onCommunity-led Heritage Initiatives sparked upthe fun stories of Pune with : Jayesh Paranjape(Western Routes), Gayatri Godse (UrbanSketchers), Shardul Kadam (Amuk Tamuk),Yashoda Joshi (c/o Sawai Gandharva BhimsenMahotsav) and Sameer Belvalkar (Publisher, ‘AisiAkshare’ Magazine).
Day 03
The final day ended with a compelling panel discussion on Data Driven Urbanisation by Abhishek Kiran Gupta(Co-founder, CRE Matrix), Ar. Rahul Vaidya (Senior Director, Alternatives,JLL India) and Ar. Dwaipayan Chakravarty. Shri Brijesh Dixithighlighted Pune Metro’s contribution to sustainable mobility, while Shri Kunal Kumar shared insights on the future of the Smart Cities Mission.Special talks by Dr. Medha Kulkarni,Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha,and Shri Shekhar Mundada, Minister ofState, Maharashtra, closed the event.

Since its inception in 1973, VK Group has been instrumental in shaping the architectural and urban landscape of modern Indian cities, particularly in western and southern India. As one of India’s oldest and most respected firms, we have grown to offer services in environmental design, urban design, architectural design, interior design, and operations services. Driven by a talented cohort of partners, what began as a small architectural practice with just two employees has evolved into a dynamic team of over 300 qualified architects, urban designers, planners, landscape architects, environmental experts, civil engineers, valuers and business managers. In 2023, VK:a architecture completed 50 years of successful projects in India and abroad.Encrypted with ‘Better by Design’ as our Drive & Aspiration (D&A), we have expanded to offices in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Dubai.
